  • I pitch, research and write articles for TODAY.com that span across the site's coverage areas, which includes music, parenting, pop culture, health, food, lifestyle, news and trending.

  • I assisted NBC News and MSNBC on election night coverage. I also helped Start TODAY with some app work and work the TODAY Show plaza once a month.

Inside Defense - Emerging Technologies Reporter​

  • Covered the Department of Defense and all updates related to emerging technology, including cyber, AI, quantum, autonomy, export regulations, strengthening the defense industrial base, Ukraine, Taiwan and more.

  • Wrote articles, interviewed subjects and covered press conferences and industry events.

The Eagle - Life Section Writer

  • During my senior year, I I contributed to pitch meetings, found interviewees for pieces and wrote articles for the Life section which mostly consisted of film and TV reviews or arts and entertainment pieces.

The Eagle - Managing Copy Editor

  • Edited University newspaper content with an audience of 11k; promoted from Opinion Section Writer and Assistant Copy Editor.

  • I fact-checked, heavily used AP style, fixed grammar, spelling, word placement, and more. I helped format articles and was the final say before the piece was published. I worked with deadlines and was in charge of a team of people who I delegated tasks to.  

  • In this position, I edited over 1,350 articles twice before publication.

Freelance Photographer

  • Experimented with new photography techniques around Europe

  • Worked with Strand 32, a secondhand designer store, to photograph models in their clothing. This included photographing well known and lesser known brands on the streets of Copenhagen.

  • Studied underneath the Danish photographer Lærke Posselt

Clubhouse - Team Member

  • Transcribed episodes of Politics and Media 101 and cut them down to fit the proper podcast length time.

  • Helped Barney Frank organize his life's work and preserve and digitize paper documents.

  • Was able to work under pressure and a time crunch.

Sigma Kappa - Vice President of Philanthropic Services and Social Chairwoman

  • As Vice President of Philanthropic Services, I was in charge of all five of Sigma Kappa's philanthropies and planning philanthropy events, donations, prizes, and all details. Had to think of creative philanthropy ideas and execute them within budget. 

  • As Social Chairwoman I worked hard to organize social events and monitor the events themselves. I had to coordinate with many different vendors for events and ensure everything was safe and approved.

American University - Teachers Assistant

  • I was a teacher's assistant for an Introduction to Communications course.

  • In this position I held review sessions for tests with students and for each project I created a model for what theirs should look like and used it as an example for them.

  • I operated all technological functions during a fully online class, and I kept everything organized over Zoom teaching.

PBS To the Contrary - Intern

  • Booked interviews, conducted interviews, wrote press releases, pitched guests, and covered conferences and rallies.

  • Communicated with agents, set up interview spaces, transcribed episodes, blogged during shows and edited clips.

  • Utilized Buffer to add content to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram; helped with cutting the show and spotted errors.

  • Ensured interviewees were comfortable by greeting them, providing food and preparing them for the session 

The Eagle - Opinion Writer and Assistant Copy Editor

  • As an opinion writer, I wrote pieces on what I was passionate about, including mental health for college students during the coronavirus pandemic.

  • As an Assistant Copy Editor, I copy edited pieces for grammatical issues, memorized the AP Stylebook front to back, and managed sections. After one semester of that, I was promoted the Managing Copy Editor.

The Devil's Advocate - Writer, Editor, Photographer and Artist

  • As a writer, I wrote articles, interviewed subjects for pieces, and contributed to the trending and features section of the newspaper in this sense.

  • As an editor, I wrote articles but also edited features section articles. Then I was promoted to Center Spread Editor where I had creative liberty over the center spread. In this position I wrote the entire center fold pieces, as well as creating the theme of each center spread. I started a new initiative to theme each center spread story to a movie and do the fonts and graphics and overall theme based off of that movie.

  • As a photographer and artist I photographed events and people and drew artwork that was featured in the newspaper. One front page drawing I created even won the 2019 Diversity Award.
